Civil Project Manager
A well-established and growing civil construction contractor is looking to add an experienced Civil Project Manager to its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with a strong background in civil/site development, earthwork, utilities, and/or infrastructure who is looking for a long-term opportunity with a respected contractor.
What You'll Do
- Manage civil construction projects from preconstruction through completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and overall profitability
- Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams
- Review plans, specifications, scopes, and project documents
- Manage project schedules and ensure work stays on track
- Monitor costs, change orders, billing, and project financials
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Work closely with Superintendents and field personnel to coordinate day-to-day project needs
- Identify and resolve project issues before they impact schedule or budget
- Assist with estimating, bidding, and preconstruction activities as needed
- Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of civil construction project management experience
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Site development
- Earthwork/grading
- Underground utilities
- Water/sewer/stormwater
- Roadway/infrastructure
- Excavation
- Concrete/site work
- Land development
- Strong understanding of civil construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financials
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Experience with construction management software
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
