This role suits someone who can work independently but still values mentorship and wants to grow their practice. Pay is based on performance, not seniority. A standout third-year can out-earn a sixth-year here.

What we're looking for
- 1+ years of civil litigation defense experience (civil defense, product liability, premises liability, medical malpractice or a related field)
- Experience with written discovery and with taking and defending depositions
- Law and motion practice, court appearances, legal research and memos
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Admitted in California and in good standing
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
