Field Superintendent – Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) Framing

Location: SE Region Industry: Commercial Construction | Cold-Formed Steel Framing Upcoming Projects: Alabama, South Carolina

Position Overview

A growing Cold-Formed Steel (CFS) construction organization is looking to add an experienced Field Superintendent to support upcoming projects throughout the Southeast.

This individual will oversee day-to-day field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, manage project schedules, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in commercial construction, preferably with CFS/LGS framing, and the ability to lead projects from mobilization through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations across active CFS framing projects.

• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.

• Manage project schedules, production goals, and installation timelines.

• Ensure work meets quality standards, specifications, and building codes.

• Maintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA compliance.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, General Contractors, and ownership.

• Identify field challenges and proactively develop solutions.

• Monitor labor productivity and project progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Superintendent or Field Leadership experience in commercial construction.

• CFS/LGS framing experience strongly preferred.

• Experience managing field crews and subcontractors.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices.

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to travel throughout the Southeastern United States as project demands require.
