Business Development Specialist - Structural Concrete

DFW is still one of the busiest construction markets in the country. I'm working with a longtime, well-established structural concrete contractor that's growing and wants a technical BD person who can talk shop with general contractors and developers.

What you'll do:

• Build and grow relationships with general contractors, developers and owners across DFW
• Find upcoming structural concrete projects early and get in front of decision makers
• Keep a healthy pipeline of qualified bids and pursuits
• Work with estimating on bid strategy, scope reviews and proposals
• Join client meetings and presentations and help close the deal
• Represent the company at industry events and stay on top of market trends

What you bring:

• Structural concrete experience as a PM, Estimator, APM or similar
• Solid understanding of estimating, scheduling and the construction lifecycle
• Relationships with DFW general contractors or developers are a big plus
• Sales or BD experience is a plus but not required
• Comfortable in front of people and motivated by earning more
• DFW-area based
