Win big structural work for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector on Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. The permanent full-time Business Development Manager position offers $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.
Day-to-day
- Generate steel erection business with owners and general contractors across Midwest markets
- Shape pursuit strategy on major structural packages of 5,000+ tons
- Track bid timing, competitor activity, and regional project pipelines
- Travel across the Midwest to grow accounts and push opportunities to award
- Carry an AISC-certified Michigan erector's brand into every meeting
What you bring
- Business development or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
- A record of winning large Midwest tonnage projects
- Relationships with general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
- Willing to travel throughout the Midwest
- Strong communicator who closes work
