Responsibilities
- Create a reliable pipeline of steel erection work from owners and general contractors
- Lead pursuits on structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
- Watch bid schedules, competitor positioning, and regional forecasts
- Travel the Midwest to grow accounts and push opportunities to award
- Be the face of an AISC-certified Michigan erector with clients and at events
Ideal profile
- BD or sales experience tied to steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
- Success winning large-tonnage Midwest projects
- Contacts with general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
- Ready for Midwest travel
- Strong communication skills and a closing habit
