Bridge Project Manager - Self-Perform

Our client, a self-performing bridge contractor, is seeking an experienced Bridge Project Manager for projects in the Cleveland, OH area. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with self-performed bridge construction, including structural concrete, bridge decks, superstructures, and substructures, and can manage projects from award through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Manage bridge construction projects from contract award through final completion
• Plan and coordinate self-performed work, including structural concrete, decks, superstructures, and substructures
• Review contracts, plans, specifications, and project requirements
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Coordinate with superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, agencies, engineers, and inspectors
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Track project costs, billing, and financial performance
• Ensure work meets quality, safety, and contractual requirements

Qualifications

• Project management experience in bridge or heavy civil construction
• Self-perform bridge experience: structural concrete, bridge decks, superstructures, and substructures
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, change orders, and subcontractors
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
