Original job description
A local bank in Red Oak is confidentially hiring a Branch Manager to lead its branch and serve customers throughout Montgomery County and southwest Iowa. You'll coach the team, grow deposits and loans, and stay involved in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop the branch staff
- Grow deposits and loans through calling efforts and referrals
- Handle consumer and small business lending
- Run daily branch operations, security, and compliance
- Represent the bank at Red Oak community events
- Set the standard for friendly, accurate customer service
Qualifications:
- Three-plus years of banking experience
- Past experience leading staff or originating loans
- Good working knowledge of branch operations and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a community focus
- Organized and goal-driven
