Bid Coordinator - Structural Steel Fabrication

<p>We're looking for an organized, detail-driven Bid Coordinator to support the estimating team at a structural steel fabricator in Houston, Texas. You'll keep the bid pipeline moving, from tracking incoming invitations to bid through assembling and submitting complete, on-time proposals.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Track bid invitations, due dates, and pre-bid meetings; maintain the bid calendar and log</li><li>Download, organize, and distribute plans, specs, and addenda to estimators</li><li>Request and follow up on vendor and subcontractor quotes (detailing, erection, galvanizing, paint)</li><li>Assemble bid packages and proposals, including forms, bonds, and qualifications, and submit on time</li><li>Keep bid board/CRM records accurate and track bid results</li><li>Coordinate with estimators, project managers, and customers on clarifications and RFIs</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>2+ years in bid coordination, estimating support, or project administration in construction, ideally steel fabrication</li><li>Comfortable reading construction drawings and specs</li><li>Experience with bid platforms such as BuildingConnected or ConstructConnect</li><li>Strong Excel and document management skills</li><li>Highly organized and able to juggle multiple deadlines</li></ul>
