Looking to sell large-tonnage steel erection? An AISC-certified Michigan steel erector needs a permanent full-time Business Development Manager focused on Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons, earning $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives with regular Midwest travel.
Your focus
- Spend time on the road across the Midwest meeting clients and advancing pursuits
- Keep tabs on bid schedules, competitors, and upcoming Midwest projects
- Drive strategy on large structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
- Serve as the face of an AISC-certified Michigan erector with clients and at industry functions
- Open doors with general contractors and owners for new steel erection work
You bring
- Background selling or developing business in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
- Relationships with general contractors, fabricators, or owners are a plus
- Comfort pursuing and landing Midwest projects of significant tonnage
- Strong communication skills and a habit of closing the pipeline
- Willingness to travel throughout the Midwest
