Step into a Business Development Manager role with an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector targeting large Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. Permanent full-time hire at $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives, including Midwest travel.
How you will contribute
- Pursue steel erection awards with general contractors and owners throughout the Midwest
- Craft and execute capture plans for structural packages on 5,000+ ton projects
- Maintain visibility into competitor bids, timing, and pipeline health
- Be the commercial voice of an AISC-certified Michigan erector with key accounts
- Travel Midwest sites and offices to advance live opportunities
Must-haves
- Hands-on BD or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
- Proven comfort securing large-tonnage Midwest awards
- Existing general contractor, fabricator, or owner relationships preferred
- Willingness to travel Midwest markets
- Strong communication skills and a closing-oriented approach
