Help an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector win more of the Midwest's largest steel jobs - projects of 5,000+ tons. The permanent full-time Business Development Manager seat offers $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and Midwest travel.
Day-to-day priorities
- Develop steel erection business with owners and general contractors
- Lead pursuits from first contact through award on 5,000+ ton packages
- Track competitor activity, bid timing, and the regional pipeline
- Travel the Midwest to build relationships and keep pursuits moving
- Represent an AISC-certified Michigan erector in client and industry settings
What you bring
- Sales or BD experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
- A record of winning large-tonnage Midwest projects
- Relationships with general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
- Willing to travel throughout the Midwest
- Clear, confident closer
