Location: Bradenton, FL
Overview
a long-established, nationally ranked regional CPA firm in the Southeast is seeking an Audit Senior to lead engagements for private and closely held companies.
Responsibilities
- Perform audits for private and closely held companies
- Manage multiple client engagements and lead teams of two to five
- Deliver engagements ready for Manager/Partner review on time and within budget
- Communicate financial statement results clearly to clients
- Develop and mentor interns and staff through delegation and feedback
- Build presentation skills and support firm growth and recruiting activities
- Travel to client sites as needed
Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. in Accounting
- Public accounting audit experience
- Solid understanding of GAAS and GAAP
- Ability to manage multiple engagements throughout the year
- Willingness to travel; occasional weekend work
- CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
