Audit Senior
Location: Charlotte, NC
Overview
A large national assurance, tax and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior in Charlotte. The ideal candidate brings a passion for client service, integrity, strong project management and leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks
- Develop the audit approach used by engagement teams
- Instruct and oversee staff throughout engagements
- Review complex client transactions
- Prepare and/or review financial statements
- Complete general audit procedures, including closing communications and client correspondence
- Research technical issues
Qualifications
- 2+ years of public accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's preferred
- CPA or eligible to work toward a CPA license
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Experience with Engagement audit software a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
