Location: Schaumburg, IL
Overview
A large national CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Manager for its nonprofit audit team in Schaumburg.
Responsibilities
- Conduct multiple audit projects and client engagements
- Communicate with partners, staff and clients on expectations and engagement status
- Take an active role in marketing the firm’s services and generating new business
- Foster relationships with coworkers and clients
- Manage, coach and develop staff accountants
Qualifications
- Developed specialty in nonprofit audits
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Licensed CPA
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills with financial statements and other financial information
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative and willingness to lead, make decisions and work independently
