Location: San Antonio, TX (or Austin / Fort Worth / Dallas, TX)
Overview
A national professional services firm is seeking an Audit Manager or Director focused on retail clients. San Antonio is among the listed Texas offices (Austin, Fort Worth and Dallas also considered). The role assumes in-charge responsibility for planning, supervising and delivering assurance engagements.
Responsibilities
- Assume full responsibility for planning, supervising and controlling assurance services for assigned clients
- Plan timing, staffing and execution of assurance engagements
- Develop a responsible and trained team through coaching, evaluation and professional development
- Review workpapers and financial statements for quality
- Serve as a trusted advisor to retail industry clients
- Support recruiting and act as an instructor in professional development programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA required
- Several years of public accounting assurance experience
- Retail industry experience preferred
- Strong leadership and client service skills
