Audit Manager - Asset Management
Location: Denver, CO
Overview
A large national accounting and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Manager with asset management audit experience for its Denver office. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
- Discuss engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks
- Develop the audit approach used by engagement teams
- Instruct and oversee audit staff throughout engagements
- Review complex client transactions
- Prepare and/or review financial statements
- Coordinate audit closing communications, client correspondence and open items
- Research technical issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of public accounting experience
- Experience with asset management audits
- Experience using Engagement software a plus
- Bachelor's degree in accounting; Master's preferred
- CPA or eligibility to work toward a CPA license
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
