Assurance Senior
Location: Appleton, WI
Overview
A large national CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior in Appleton to deliver industry-focused audit and assurance services to middle market clients.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients throughout the year to gather information and respond to questions
- Plan and supervise audit engagement activities
- Review and perform substantive testing on balance sheets and income statements
- Conduct and review internal control testing and recommend improvements
- Discuss business recommendations with managers and partners
- Build strong internal and client relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, master's or advanced degree in accounting
- CPA or actively pursuing the exams (CPA eligible)
- 3+ years of financial statement audit experience in public accounting
- Strong time management, communication and problem-solving skills
- Microsoft Office skills
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
