Assistant Project Manager – Multifamily Construction
Location: Dallas–Fort Worth area
A multifamily general contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth area is looking for an Assistant Project Manager with a clear path to Project Manager. You will support garden-style, wrap, and mid-rise apartment projects while building the skills to run your own.
What You'll Do
- Partner with a Project Manager on garden-style, wrap, and mid-rise multifamily projects
- Keep submittals, RFIs, and change orders organized and moving
- Help with buyout, subcontractor scopes, and procurement
- Track budgets, schedules, and monthly pay applications
- Walk units and amenities with the field team to stay close to the work
- Take on more ownership as you grow, with a clear target of stepping into the PM seat
What You Bring
- Some experience with a general contractor, ideally on multifamily or residential-style work
- A construction management, engineering, or related degree is a plus
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Comfort with Excel and project management software like Procore
- A positive attitude and the drive to grow quickly
