Original job description
Got a year or two as a Project Engineer or APM and want a real, mapped-out path to running your own jobs? Let's talk.
I'm working with a long-established commercial general contractor in the Philadelphia suburbs. Their APMs keep getting promoted, so they're adding new talent to the project team. They have about 5 years of work lined up.
What's in it for you:
- $60K-$80K base depending on experience
- Full benefits
- A clear path to Project Manager, often in 3 to 5 years
- See the projects you help build all the way through before you take the reins
- Local work between the Lehigh Valley and Center City
What you'll do:
- Support the PM day to day from buyout through closeout
- Own submittals, RFIs and change order tracking
- Help build and update project schedules
- Help with RFPs, bid packages and sub and vendor research
- Handle onsite construction administration and coordinate with owners, engineers and inspectors
What you bring:
- 1-2 years as a Project Engineer or APM with a commercial general contractor
- Ground-up or renovation experience on commercial, industrial or institutional buildings
- Comfort with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Office
- OSHA 10 required, OSHA 30 a plus
- Field or inspection background is a big plus
- Philadelphia or Lehigh Valley area based
