Responsibilities:

  • Build farm and ranch relationships through visits and local referrals
  • Analyze producer financials, cash flow, and repayment capacity
  • Structure operating lines and loans for cattle, equipment, and land
  • Perform farm and ranch inspections, renewals, and annual reviews
  • Offer deposit and other bank services to ag families
  • Work FSA programs into credit packages where useful

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Ag Business, Ag Economics, or Finance is a plus
  • Ag lending, farm credit, or ranching experience
  • Familiarity with irrigated crops and cow-calf operations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a rural community mindset
  • Self-starting, organized, and reliable

Competitive salary and bonus.

I recruit for community banks throughout Colorado and the Rocky Mountain region and frequently hear about farm and ranch lending needs early. If this role isn't the right one, contact me anyway, and we can have a confidential chat about other ag openings.
