Original job description

A community bank in Greybull is confidentially seeking an Ag Lender to serve cattle, sugar beet, and hay operations across Big Horn County and the Big Horn Basin. You'll cover new business, underwriting, structuring, closing, and servicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow farm and ranch relationships through visits and word of mouth
  • Study producer financial statements and cash flow plans
  • Structure operating, cattle, equipment, and land loans
  • Handle inspections, renewals, and annual credit reviews
  • Offer deposit and cash management services to ag families
  • Include FSA programs in loan requests where they help

Qualifications:

  • Ag Business, Range Management, or Finance degree a plus
  • Experience in ranching, ag credit, or ag lending
  • Knowledge of cow-calf, sugar beet, and irrigated hay production
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ties to rural Wyoming
  • Self-reliant and detail oriented

Competitive salary and bonus.

I partner with banks throughout Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region and regularly learn about ranch and farm lending needs before they're made public. If this one isn't for you, contact me anyway, and we can talk confidentially about other ag roles.

How to apply: No cover letter needed. Just send your resume, or text/call me at 605-705-3077 or email logan.hovland@gogpac.com.
