A community bank in Montrose is confidentially hiring an Ag Lender to work with farm families and ag-related businesses across the Uncompahgre Valley and the Western Slope. You'll handle new business, underwriting, structuring, closing, and servicing for a portfolio of ag and ag real estate loans.
Responsibilities:
- Grow relationships with farm families, growers, and ag-related businesses
- Analyze financials, cash flow, and collateral, including irrigated ground and water rights
- Structure operating, equipment, and land loans and prepare credit write-ups
- Perform inspections, annual reviews, and ongoing portfolio monitoring
- Introduce deposit and other bank services to ag clients
- Use FSA guarantee programs when appropriate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of Ag lending or Ag credit analysis experience
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Self-directed and well organized
