Original job description

A local bank in Sheridan is confidentially hiring an Ag Lender to serve agricultural and rural customers across Sheridan County and northern Wyoming. You'll manage the full loan cycle, from new business through underwriting to structuring, closing, and servicing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with rural and agricultural businesses
  • Analyze financial statements, cash flow, and collateral, including equipment and land
  • Structure operating, equipment, and real estate loans and prepare credit presentations
  • Complete site visits, annual reviews, and portfolio monitoring
  • Offer deposit and other bank products to ag customers
  • Use FSA guarantee programs when they make sense

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of Ag lending or Ag credit analysis experience
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable covering a large rural territory

Competitive salary and bonus.

I partner with banks throughout Wyoming and the Rocky Mountain region and learn about many of their openings before they reach the market. If this position isn't quite the right fit, contact me anyway, and we can discuss other opportunities confidentially.
