A community bank in Emmetsburg is confidentially seeking an Ag Lender to work with farm and ag customers across Palo Alto County and northwest Iowa. The role covers new business, analysis, structuring, closing, and servicing of farm credits.
Responsibilities:
- Build new relationships with area farm families and agribusinesses
- Review balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow projections
- Structure operating, machinery, equipment and real estate loans
- Complete farm inspections, renewals, and annual credit reviews
- Offer deposit and cash management services to ag borrowers
- Put FSA guarantee programs to work where they help a borrower
Qualifications:
- Degree in Ag Business, Ag Studies, or Finance preferred
- Prior ag lending, ag credit, or farm management experience
- Comfortable earning the trust of multi-generation farm families
- Organized self-starter who follows through
