Network traffic engineering is a critical infrastructure service; our systems deliver every network flow for Google and GCP end-to-end. Our core goals include: guaranteeing four nines of network availability through fault-tolerant, outage-free system designs, delivering deterministic, policy-compliant, and latency-bounded packet forwarding.
