LPN or RN Evening shift supervisor

Job Description

Golfview Nursing Center is seeking a dependable, motivated, and experienced LPN/RN Evening Shift Supervisor to join our nursing leadership team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to providing high-quality resident care. The Evening Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily nursing operations during the 3 PM – 11 PM shift, supervising nursing staff, ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to LPNs, RNs, and CNAs during the evening shift.
• Ensure quality resident care and compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.
• Monitor staff performance, assignments, attendance, and accountability.
• Respond to changes in resident conditions, incidents, and emergencies.
• Ensure timely and accurate nursing documentation.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident transfers.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and nursing leadership.
• Conduct rounds to ensure resident safety, staff productivity, and quality of care.
• Address staffing concerns and assist with coverage as needed.
• Participate in the facility's on-call rotation for one week per month.
• Support survey readiness and compliance with AHCA, CMS, and facility regulations.

Qualifications

• Current, active Florida LPN or RN license.
• Previous skilled nursing facility or long-term care experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or nursing leadership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and make sound clinical decisions.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly position with competitive pay based on experience.
• Full-time evening shift: 3 PM – 11 PM.
• Required on-call rotation: One week per month.
