DC Warehouse Employee

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for all aspects of warehousing, including order picking, shipping, receiving, UPS duties, and checking of orders and material.

JOB DUTIES:

• Assigns storage locations for various materials and finished products under the direction of the

Supervisor.

• Assemble customer orders accurately, as to quantity and type of material from pick tickets

and bills of lading.

• Alternate with other team members to verify the accuracy of the orders they pick.
• Prepare orders for shipment in a safe and proper manner for transport.
• Loading containers by hand for floor load requests or by pallet request.
• Check for damaged or defective product prior to picking and shipment.
• Requires use of hand truck and/or forklift truck to move product and pick orders.
• Assist truck drivers in loading and verifying counts.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Keep team leader/supervisor properly informed.
• Assist fellow team members as workload dictates.
• UPS preparation and shipping.
• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner
• Other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Understanding the concept of using a Scanner.

Ecommerce preparation and shipping.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Good communications skills that include the ability to read, write and speak English.
• Acceptable attendance and performance record.
• Certified under the Gold Eagle Forklift Training Program or equivalent.
• Must be responsible for assisting in the day to day operations that could include 10 to 12 hours a day and the possibility of 6 days a week. Overtime for this position is mandatory.
