SAFETY FEATURES:

Always keep the assigned area clean and tidy. Report any accidents, unsafe equipment or area to the leader or line supervisor.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

The employee will be required to lift or slide the pallets into position to begin stacking boxes. The employee will arrange the boxes on the platform according to the specifications of the shipment. The employee will verify that the boxes are correctly labeled and identified for inventory purposes. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, cleaning stacking areas and equipment to comply with health and safety regulations. Responsible for helping produce safe, legal, and authentic products to expectations of customer quality. Supports, implements, and helps maintain and improve all programs and quality management procedures. Responsible for the implementation, improvement and compliance with all BRC-related programs and procedures.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:

The employee will record the time of entry on the clock. Pick up materials in the Supply Room. Put on the appropriate personal protective equipment, such as earplugs, safety glasses, gown, wash your hands properly before putting on gloves on both hands to begin working on the production area. Follow the instructions of the leader or line supervisor.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Lift weight up to 60 pounds 100% of the time. Fold, reach, turn and stand 100% of the time.

ENVIRONMENT:

Raw chicken processors work in cold, humid conditions (40° to 50° degrees) to prevent the meat from spoiling. The surface of the work area is wet and slippery 100% of the time. Because processors work with knives and sharp machinery, there is a risk of accidental injuries, ranging from minor cuts to amputations of fingers or limbs. Medium noise level (protectors/earplugs required) for ears.

EDUCATION:

Minimum education required. Must be able to understand the basic instructions of the leader/supervisor. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment at all times.
