Cook - Part Time

BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Performs work involved in the planning, preparation and cooking of meats, vegetables, salads and other foods. Performs other kitchen operations including cleaning, washing, serving food, storing food, setting tables, and other routine manual duties related to preparing and serving food.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, required
• Cooking and food preparation experience, preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience, preferred
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to perform physical work efficiently, with long periods of standing, twisting, and bending
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop kneel or crouch
• Works as a team member in a professional and positive manner

STATUS: Part-time (17.5 hours per week; 3.5 hours per day) DATES: Starting the 2026-27 School Year SALARY: per Food Service – Teamsters Local Union contract - $22.66 per hour
