If you enjoy digging into data, solving problems at the root cause, and seeing your ideas implemented on the floor, this is a great opportunity to make a measurable difference.
What You’ll Do
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce scrap, increase uptime, and improve cycle times.
- Identify and solve manufacturing issues using root cause analysis and structured problem-solving tools (8D, 5
Why, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Optimize casting and machining processes, including process parameters and quality standards.
- Partner with Quality to resolve customer issues and implement engineering changes.
- Support new product launches, including process development, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.
- Train and coach team members on best practices and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in machining, die casting, foundry, or manufacturing.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Working knowledge of CNC machining (G-code, M-codes, speeds & feeds).
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into practical process improvements.
Why Join Us?
- High-impact role with visible results on the production floor.
- Opportunity to lead improvements and influence operations.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams.
- Environment focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
Safety & Compliance
- We’re committed to maintaining a safe, clean, and high-quality work environment.
- This role follows all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
