Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Deployment Engineer you will bring prototypes onto the sponsor's high-side networks, develop them to a minimum viable product (MVP), and keep them running for mission users. In this role you will bridge development work done by the broader Cell with deployment, integration, and sustainment in the classified environment.

• Further build and develop prototype tools to MVP stage, adding functionality and hardening them for operational use
• Deploy, configure, and sustain prototype applications and analytic tools, including AI/ML and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) capabilities, on classified networks
• Build and extend front-end and back-end components to meet mission user needs
• Work with the prototyping team to implement development standards, requirements, and best practices that accelerate high-side implementation of solutions
• Containerize applications and maintain build and deployment pipelines in air-gapped environments
• Integrate prototypes with sponsor data sources, services, and authentication systems
• Work with security and accreditation stakeholders to meet ATO and data-handling requirements
• Troubleshoot issues on-site and provide responsive technical support to users
• Document deployment configurations, dependencies, and transition procedures

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree)
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with a modern front-end framework (e.g., React)
• Experience building REST APIs and working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux, and CI/CD tooling
• Experience deploying software in classified or disconnected environments

Desired Qualifications:

• Kubernetes or other container orchestration
• Experience with LLM frameworks, vector databases, or RAG architectures
• Familiarity with IC cloud environments
• CompTIA Security+ (or other DoD 8140-approved certification)

What you can expect from us

• The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $165,000-$220,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
