Join our team as a Generator Installation Technician with NW Power & Air in Bremerton, WA! We are locally owned and serve the surrounding community with electrical, standby generator, and HVAC services. Having been in business 30 years, we have built a reputation for the highest quality work and develop trusting relationships with our customers.

What you'll do:

• Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot generator malfunctions and failures
• Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed.
• Test and verify repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of generators and associated systems to identify potential issues or safety hazards.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and recommendations.
• Offer recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Complete and submit service reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs
• Communicate with inside staff regarding the status of work orders.

What you'll bring:

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment and the ability to read technical schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, up to 50+ lbs.
• Capable of working in various environmental conditions.
• Valid Driver's License
• 2+ years working with generators preferred
