Analyst, Construction Estimator

Analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor bids; verify scope coverage across trade packages. Prepare conceptual, budget, and hard-bid cost estimates for renovation, restoration, and structural modification projects at multiple design stages. Review architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine scope of work; perform quantity takeoffs using estimating software (Bluebeam Revu, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar) and spreadsheet-based cost models. Assess site-specific conditions affecting cost and productivity, including subsurface conditions and existing-structure constraints, and incorporate corresponding allowances and contingencies into bid pricing. Prepare change order pricing and cost impact analyses, and coordinate with project managers, engineers, and design consultants.
