Mechanical Assembly & Fab

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for mechanical assembly and welding and fabrication activities. All performed activities are to be done ensuring they correspond with company goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Perform all job duties as directed, including but not limited to welding, metal fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly.
• Perform duties and activities in accordance with company goals and objectives.
• Perform duties and activities in a safe and efficient manner.
• Communicating departmental information on a regular basis as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Mig Welding
• Tig Welding
• Metal Working
• Manual Machining
• Mechanical capabilities
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to work with hand tools.
• Communication – written and verbal
• Willingness to follow instruction
• Ability to perform all essential functions of this job

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required if some level of experience is shown.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Lifting a maximum of 50 pounds. This job requires extensive amounts of walking, standing, sitting, squatting, and else required to perform the job.
