Elementary Classroom Tutor (Classroom Aide)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Massachusetts Teacher Licensure Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree Required

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

JOB GOAL: To provide academic support to elementary school students.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with individual students or small groups of students to provide interventions and supports in reading, writing, math, speaking and listening.
• Collaborates with classroom teachers to plan and implement lessons and data informed supports and interventions;
• Assist students with group and individual academic work.
• Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by teachers and/or the building administration.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Per Contract.
