Your Responsibilities as Position Title
- Lead complex technical discoveries with sales representatives, enterprise customers and customer IT teams to define security objectives, system constraints, infrastructure dependencies and acceptance requirements.
- Develop solution architectures for integrated and nonstandard opportunities, including system topology, equipment selection, communications, recording, monitoring and deployment requirements.
- Define and technically scope custom mobile surveillance unit configurations, including security-system functionality, remote power requirements and interfaces with the mechanical design process.
- Gather, document and communicate custom mechanical requirements for mobile surveillance units so Engineering can evaluate, design and control the physical solution.
- Design and evaluate integrations with common and enterprise video-management systems and monitoring platforms, identifying supported methods, technical dependencies, limitations and risks.
- Coordinate networking and connectivity requirements with customer IT teams, including addressing, routing, cellular communications, remote access and system interfaces.
- Prepare architecture diagrams, technical scopes, bills of materials, assumptions, exclusions and supporting documentation for complex opportunities.
- Evaluate technical feasibility and ensure custom or integrated commitments are reviewed and approved before they are represented as deliverable solutions.
- Provide a disciplined operational handoff that communicates the approved design, scope, responsibilities, dependencies, configuration requirements and outstanding risks to implementation teams.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering when a customer requires a new capability, product change or formal engineering work.
- Perform other duties as required
Your Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the United States
