About the Opportunity

The Enterprise Data Platform Analyst will serve as GAMA-1’s senior technical resource for SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and enterprise business platforms in a remote work environment. The Enterprise Data Platform Analyst will administer, configure, and continually improve SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, while expanding enterprise capabilities across approved SaaS, CRM, automation, AI, and integration technologies. The initial focus is the configuration of HubSpot and the migration of existing business data from SharePoint Lists into HubSpot. This work includes analyzing data structures, developing field mappings and transformation rules, and cleansing, validating, and reconciling data.

Requirements

What You Will Do in This Role

The Enterprise Data Platform Analyst administers, configures, develops, integrates, and governs GAMA-1’s enterprise data and business technology platforms, translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administer, configure, maintain, and continually improve SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365, including sites, lists, libraries, content types, metadata, taxonomies, columns, lookup fields, naming conventions, views, and forms.
  • Manage SharePoint access, groups, permission inheritance, and list, library, and item-level permissions in alignment with least-privilege principles.
  • Support enterprise information architecture, document control, versioning, retention, records management, and content recovery using version history, recycle bins, and approved backup capabilities.
  • Monitor SharePoint usage, performance, storage, permissions, and platform health, and troubleshoot data, configuration, permissions, synchronization, integration, automation, and usability issues.
  • Configure and support enterprise SaaS applications, initially including HubSpot objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, permissions, views, imports, and integrations.
  • Analyze SharePoint Lists and other approved data sources, and develop data mappings, transformation rules, validation methods, reconciliation procedures, and migration documentation.
  • Clean, normalize, deduplicate, classify, validate, and reconcile data before and after migrations, and maintain metadata structures, data dictionaries, naming conventions, and field definitions.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain business solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, JSON, JavaScript, PowerShell, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, or comparable approved technologies.
  • Configure and maintain approved integrations between Microsoft 365 and enterprise SaaS platforms, including Outlook and HubSpot, and evaluate APIs, plugins, and connectors for security, data handling, licensing and cost, GCC compatibility, and maintainability.
  • Test new configurations, applications, integrations, and migrations before production deployment, and document test results and identified issues.
  • Support the responsible evaluation, configuration, and integration of approved AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT, by identifying appropriate use cases and supporting the testing, governance, and monitoring of implemented solutions.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements in collaboration with Finance, Contracts, Business Development, HR, Executive Leadership, Quality, Security, and IT, and support requests through established intake, approval, and change-management processes.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration records, procedures, testing records, and user guidance, and support compliance through controlled system structures, access controls, and audit-ready evidence.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, and basic user training, and recommend improvements to platform architecture, data quality, usability, automation, security, and governance.
  • Enable and support business-unit solutions while business units retain ownership of their processes, business rules, and data accuracy, and perform other related technical duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Bring

Required qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years of progressive hands-on experience supporting, administering, configuring, developing, or integrating enterprise applications, data platforms, SaaS solutions, or Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Significant demonstrated SharePoint Online expertise, including enterprise site and information architecture, lists and libraries, metadata, content types, taxonomies, naming conventions, views and forms, permissions and access controls, and governance and lifecycle management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, including Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, and associated administration and configuration capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience developing or supporting solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps, and using Power BI or comparable reporting technologies.
  • Experience administering, configuring, or integrating enterprise SaaS or CRM platforms such as HubSpot, including evaluating and maintaining integrations, APIs, connectors, plugins, and automation technologies.
  • Experience performing data migration, mapping, transformation, cleansing, deduplication, validation, and reconciliation, with a strong understanding of structured data, metadata, taxonomy, and data quality.
  • Practical coding, scripting, or integration experience using JSON, JavaScript, PowerShell, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, or comparable technologies.
  • Practical experience with generative AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT, and the ability to evaluate appropriate business applications for AI.
  • Strong understanding of access control, least privilege, security groups, and data protection, with demonstrated experience implementing and enforcing technology or information-governance standards.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into secure, maintainable, and user-centered solutions usable by individuals with varying levels of technical proficiency.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, testing, and technical documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities from multiple business units and to work independently while collaborating with technical and nontechnical stakeholders in a remote environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a willingness to learn unfamiliar platforms and emerging technologies as organizational needs evolve.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience configuring HubSpot, including objects, custom properties, workflows, pipelines, permissions, and imports, and migrating SharePoint or comparable data into a CRM or SaaS platform.
  • Experience working within Microsoft 365 GCC, GCC High, defense-contracting, or comparable regulated environments, including designing solutions that avoid unnecessary reliance on premium connectors or cost-incurring third-party services.
  • Experience with API-based integrations, PowerShell automation, and broader software or application development beyond SharePoint and Power Platform.
  • Experience implementing and evaluating enterprise AI solutions or AI-enabled automation for data privacy, security, accuracy, governance, and integration.
  • Experience establishing data-governance, metadata, retention, or data-quality standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC Level 2, or comparable compliance environments, and an understanding of CUI and FCI data handling requirements.
  • Experience supporting controlled development, testing, deployment, configuration management, or change-management processes.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft 365 Administrator (MS-102), Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), SharePoint, Azure, HubSpot, data management, or AI and Copilot certifications.
