ServiceNow QA Tester – Remote Opportunity

G2IT | Full-Time | Remote | $70,000–$80,000 Annually

Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required

Position Overview

G2IT is looking for a talented ServiceNow QA Tester to join our growing team in a fully remote position supporting a mission-critical federal IT modernization program.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced team of IT professionals supporting a Department of War agency. You will play an important role in improving and maintaining an enterprise ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, ensuring applications, workflows, and enhancements deliver a seamless experience for users.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in software quality assurance, hands-on ServiceNow experience, and a passion for identifying issues, improving processes, and delivering reliable technology solutions.

If you enjoy solving problems, working with cutting-edge technology, and making a meaningful impact while working remotely, we encourage you to apply!

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for ServiceNow applications, ITSM modules, and platform enhancements.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure system reliability and performance.

• Test ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.

• Validate Service Catalog workflows, approvals, notifications, and automated business processes.

• Build and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

• Identify, document, and track software defects while collaborating with developers to resolve issues.

• Test ServiceNow integrations, business rules, Flow Designer workflows, and Service Portal functionality.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business and government requirements.

• Conduct accessibility and security-focused testing to support Section 508/WCAG compliance and secure platform functionality.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

• Support testing during platform upgrades, releases, and system enhancements.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.

• U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance (T3/T3R).

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.

• Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications, ITSM modules, and workflows.

• Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) or similar automation tools.

• Understanding of ServiceNow ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request Management, and Service Catalog.

• Experience performing functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Ability to develop test cases, document defects, and verify software fixes.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow Service Portal, CMDB, and system integrations.

• Experience supporting Agile development teams and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Working knowledge of Section 508/WCAG accessibility requirements.

• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a remote team environment.

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Application Developer (CAD), or Implementation Specialist – ITSM (CIS-ITSM).

• ISTQB Certified Tester or CompTIA Security+ CE.

• Experience creating automated testing solutions using ServiceNow ATF, Selenium, or Playwright.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Virtual Agent, and REST/SOAP APIs.

• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as ANDI, axe, JAWS, or NVDA.

• Experience supporting Department of War, federal government, or other regulated IT environments.

• Knowledge of NIST security standards and secure software development practices.

• Experience testing Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint, or Power BI applications.

Why Join G2IT?

• 100% Remote Opportunity: Enjoy the flexibility of working from home while supporting an important federal mission.

• Competitive Salary: $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

• Meaningful Work: Help improve enterprise IT services and technology supporting federal operations.

• Professional Growth: Expand your experience with ServiceNow, test automation, and enterprise IT modernization.

• Collaborative Team: Work alongside experienced IT professionals in a supportive, mission-focused environment.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

If you're a ServiceNow QA professional looking for a remote opportunity where your skills can make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you!

Apply today and take the next step in your career with G2IT.

Annual Salary: $70,000–$80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
