Gather requirements and document them as use cases and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Plan and run user acceptance testing, and obtain business sign-off before release.
Review and validate effort estimates from IT teams and vendors.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
Coordinate releases through the software development life cycle (SDLC) and release management process, including go-live planning and rollback plans.
Hand off completed projects to IT operations for ongoing service delivery and support.
Report project status to the CIO and stakeholders.
Assign tasks, coordinate internal staff and vendors, and confirm resources are available for each project.
Serve as the liaison between the business and IT, and manage relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
Evaluate business processes to identify requirements and improvement opportunities, and confirm solutions meet business needs.
Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, process maps, and diagrams.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
