Community Coordinator (Housing)
DEPARTMENT: Student Housing REPORTS TO: Controller STATUS: One-year, non-exempt, part-time position; from July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027 HOURS: Up to 15 hours per week
POSITION SUMMARY
As an integral element of Fuller’s commitment to whole-life formation, Community Coordinators (CCs) actively nurture Christ-centered communities for Fuller’s student housing residents and their families. While living alongside other residents, CCs create opportunities for residents to share their unique life experiences in an intercultural, intergenerational community environment. While maintaining a commitment to Fuller’s Community Standards, CCs also serve as critical liaisons to the Student Housing team in the areas of community news and care, neighbor or roommate conflict resolution, building/unit status reporting, and emergency preparedness and response.
Community Coordinators are responsible for delivering the highest level of service and creating the strongest sense of belonging for every student housing resident who is part of Fuller’s learning community and is assigned to their care.
Service Period Positions are from July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027. Continued service throughout the year depends upon successfully completing job requirements. Due to the nature of the position and the need for continuity, Student Housing staff needs to be available with minimal breaks during crucial periods, especially during the summer and winter breaks. The academic calendar is not a "time off" calendar. You are eligible for "time off" throughout the year (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027), no more than two weeks at once. Average weekly hours are 10-15.
