- Monitor open purchase orders and supplier delivery dates, flag parts at risk of delaying production, and work with commodity managers and suppliers to expedite critical items
- Analyze daily inventory balances for over supply and slow-moving parts, recommend inventory to redistribute between facilities or sell based on market demand, and notify commodities team of inventory to sell
- Evaluate parts proposals and RFQ’s from suppliers to determine if pricing and lead times meet FTAI requirements
- Ensure configuration and regulatory requirements are met for parts acquired and understand the various configurations needed for engine builds
- Perform root cause analysis on parts shortages and production delays, and recommend corrective actions to improve planning accuracy
- Drive improvements in business efficiencies and user adoption of FTAI’s Inventory Management Center across all FTAI shops with the support of Palantir
