Apprentice Fire Sprinkler Technician

FSS Technologies is hiring an Apprentice Sprinkler/Suppression Technician to learn the trade alongside experienced technicians. You will help install, inspect, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and learn to read blueprints and technical drawings. No experience is needed, just a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.

Position Overview

The Apprentice – Sprinkler/Suppression Technician is an important member of the FSS Technologies team, contributing to our mission to protect lives and property through industry-leading life safety and electronic security solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, inspections, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Support the team by organizing tools, equipment, and materials.
• Observe and practice safe work habits in all environments.
• Document work performed under the direction of a supervisor.

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required but are not necessarily all-inclusive.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
• No prior experience required; trade school or vocational training preferred.

• Pay range for this role is $18-$23 per hour
