Ranch Hand

The ranch is seeking a full-time ranch hand for duties that will include ranch facility maintenance management, regenerative and rotational cattle grazing, low stress management, cattle genetics and breeding, horsemanship and land stewardship. Seeking longer term commitment to help and participate in growth of the business.

This is not a Cowboy beef cattle position, but a great opportunity to help run most facets of a working cow/calf breading ranch and dealing with a docile, intelligent, premium pure-bred cattle breed.

Hands-on experience/duties will include:

• Cow/Calf and Cattle Breeding
• Cattle Handling, Doctoring and Stewardship
• Registered Highland Genetics
• Range Land Ecology and Rotation
• Nutrition &
• Water management
• Fence Maintenance -- permanent and electric
• Horsemanship, riding and training
• Horse Health and doctoring
• Ranch Management Practices
• Ranch Barn and Pen Maintenance
