Seeking a highly motivated accountant with experience in government contracting. Requires knowledge in developing and maintaining internal controls and accounting policies in a high-growth environment.

Prepare entries to general ledger accounts.

Handle month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.

Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.

Prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements.

Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections and drive improvements using financial and business knowledge and experience.

Develop, coordinate, integrate, analyze and maintain, a coordinated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Cost Plus Accounting position in government contract services industry.

3+ years of experience in Financial Operations, Material Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating and Financial Planning.

BS in Finance or Accounting or equivalent business experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

DCAA and/or accounting for government contracts: 2 years

Experience with software Procas/ is a PLUS
