Plastic Injection Molding Technician

Front Range Staffing is seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Technician for a manufacturing company in Colorado Springs. This is a hands-on position for an experienced molding professional with strong machine and tooling setup skills who can troubleshoot production issues and help maintain efficient, quality-focused operations. Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience Schedule: Full-time, with occasional overtime Location: Central Colorado Springs, CO An ideal candidate for this position would possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on injection molding and machine/tooling setup experience
• Strong knowledge of injection molding equipment, machine controls, molds, tooling, plastic materials, and processing
• Experience installing, setting up, changing, removing, and maintaining injection molds and tooling
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment, tooling, material, and production issues
• Experience adjusting and optimizing molding processes to improve quality, efficiency, and productivity
• Knowledge of plastic resins, additives, material changes, and safe machine purging procedures
• Ability to support mold trials, process development, new production runs, and production ramp-up
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment and mold maintenance
• Ability to complete production documentation, work instructions, inventory records, and quality documentation
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining production and safety standards
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, reach, and access production equipment throughout the shift
• Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends or holidays based on production needs
