PT Custodian

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Custodian to assist with cleaning of the school building after school and during school athletic events. Individuals should be available in the evenings and some Saturday work is required. Job is approximately 20 hours a week, flexibility is needed as determined by event schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Ensure all facilities are maintained in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Follow established procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Requirements

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to pass a background check as required by school district policies.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
