The ideal candidate will have previous hands-on experience operating industrial press brake equipment, changing tooling, and working with established machine setups and programs. This position requires someone who can work independently, interpret fabrication drawings, and consistently produce accurate, high-quality metal components.

What You'll Do

  • Operate press brake equipment using established machine setups and programs to bend and form metal components.
  • Change and install appropriate punches, dies, and tooling based on production requirements.
  • Select and run existing machine programs and make routine operating adjustments as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, bend specifications, and work orders.
  • Verify bend angles, dimensions, and tolerances using tape measures, calipers, angle gauges, and other measuring tools.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Identify and troubleshoot common bending and quality issues.
  • Load, position, and handle sheet metal materials safely and efficiently.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate production documentation and follow established work procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety procedures.

Why FR Conversions?

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and technical skills.
  • Consistent first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
  • Opportunities to expand fabrication and equipment operating skills.
  • Team-focused manufacturing environment committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
