Bring the Story of the Fox Theatre to Life

Do you love Atlanta, history, architecture, entertainment, and connecting with people?

The Fox Theatre is looking for enthusiastic and engaging Part-Time Tour Guides who can create memorable experiences for our guests while sharing the fascinating stories, history, and unique features of one of Atlanta's most iconic landmarks.

As a Tour Guide, you will be more than someone who leads a group through the building. You will serve as a storyteller, ambassador, and welcoming face of the Fox Theatre, helping guests discover what makes the Fox such a special part of Atlanta's history and cultural community.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and create a friendly, engaging tour experience.
• Lead scheduled tours of the Fox Theatre for individuals and groups.
• Share the Theatre's history, architecture, features, and stories in an informative and entertaining way.
• Answer guest questions and provide accurate information about the Fox Theatre.
• Adjust your presentation and approach based on the audience, including visitors of different ages and backgrounds.
• Help ensure tours remain organized, timely, and safe.
• Provide excellent guest service while representing the Fox Theatre professionally.
• Additional duties as directed.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

• Enjoy meeting new people and speaking in front of groups.
• Are personable, enthusiastic, dependable, and comfortable taking the lead.
• Have strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Can learn historical information and present it naturally rather than simply reciting a script.
• Know how to read an audience and keep people interested and engaged.
• Have a genuine interest in the Fox Theatre, Atlanta history, architecture, performing arts, or hospitality.
• Are comfortable working in a public-facing environment where every guest experience matters.
• Successful applicants must be able to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.

Schedule

This is a part-time position. Candidates should have flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Spanish Language Skills Are a Plus!

Because we welcome guests from diverse backgrounds and want to make the Fox Theatre experience accessible and engaging for everyone, bilingual candidates who are fluent in both English and Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply.
