Job Type: Full Time, On Site

We are hiring a Delivery Driver for a local FedEx Ground contractor serving the Hendersonville, Portland, and Cottontown areas. You'll pick up, transport, and deliver packages to homes and businesses along an assigned route. The company is growing because of an expanding service area and has been a FedEx Ground contractor for over five years.

Requirements

• Ability to meet time-sensitive delivery deadlines.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently on a route.
• Friendly and professional with customers.

Responsibilities

• Load your delivery vehicle at the start of each shift.
• Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers along assigned routes.
• Scan packages for tracking and obtain signatures when required.
• Follow all safety procedures on the road and at every stop.

Physical demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to get in and out of a delivery vehicle throughout the day.
• Ability to work outdoors.

This is an on site position.
